Step-by-step instructions on how to submit your abstract with EasyChair
Step 1: Create an EasyChair Account (see this help article explaining account creation)
If you are new to using EasyChair, you have to set up a free account first (if you are already registered you can skip this step and proceed to step 3 – you do not need a separate account for each conference to which you submit). This is a simple process and will only take a couple of minutes: click here to access the account creation page and follow the procedure described. Please fill out the form that appears on your screen. The required fields are marked by (*). Then click the “Continue” button.
Step 2: Email Address Verification
After you have successfully completed step 1, EasyChair will send a verification email to your address, to make sure that you are the owner of it and that you can receive messages from their domain easychair.org. Follow the link in the verification email and fill out the form on your screen to complete your account creation – the required fields are once again marked by (*). Then click the “Create my account” button.
Step 3: Submit your Abstract (see this help article explaining how to submit)
Navigate to the TNC 2018 EasyChair system by following this link:
There you can log in with your username and password. Then click on the menu tab “New Submission” and follow the instructions. Please fill in the required information (*) for you and all your co-authors and make sure that at least one of them is marked as a corresponding author by checking the respective box. If any of your co-authors already have an EasyChair account, you can use the “click here to add an associate” option to search for them. If this is not the case, please add their information manually (note that not all authors but only the person submitting the abstract is required to have an EasyChair account). Then enter the title and the abstract (max. 2000 characters, including spaces) as well as at least three keywords (one per line) to characterize your abstract. Please also select one or more topics from the presented list and your preferred form of presentation by checking the respective box next to it.
When you are done, click the “Submit” button on the bottom of the page – your submission is now complete!
Your submission will then appear on your menu when you are logged into EasyChair as an author. If you have a single submission for this conference (e.g. with number 27), you will see a menu tab "Submission 27" where you can check its status. If you have more than one submission, you will see the menu tab "My Submissions".
If your abstract is selected, you will be notified with an acceptance e-mail by March 1st, 2018!
